A Taste of Korean Heaven in Manila

         Want to try a new and delicious way than your usual fried chicken? Better check Bon Chon Chicken. My family tried this amazing fried chicken last Saturday in Alabang Town Center in Muntinlupa. Since it's my first time, I am a little hesitant thinking that since it's from Korea, I am in for the spiciest chicken of all but I was wrong! You can choose from 2 kinds of flavor ( the Soy garlic and the Spicy one. To play safe, I opted for the Soy garlic flavor, since I am not supposed to eat spicy food ( gallstones alert! ) Once I sampled their menu, I am HOOKED! The combination of the flavor plus the crispiness and juiciness of the chicken makes one mesmerized and definitely addictive. 

         Knowing that the said resto opened their branch in SM Manila, I asked BH to accompany me since he's also quite curious about the place.

They also have this delicious Kimchi coleslaw that will add zest to your palate. Better check this one and you'll be in for a surprise. Surely, a real taste of Korean Heaven in Manila. See you there!

Happy Hour

For a while, I fight the urge to visit my favorite coffee shop, named Starbucks for the reason that my doctor asked me to, huhuhu.... but with this promo, who can resist!!! 

   So with that, last April 30, me and the rest of patrons of this wonderful coffee shop, queued to sample their once in a lifetime (for me ) offer. Well, as per doctor's advice, I refrain from drinking caffeine thus I order my favorite non caffeinated drink, the GREEN TEA CREAM frappuccino, (venti sizeof course !) This amazing drink normally cost P 175.00 for venti size but with this offer, I got it for only  
P 87.00, a real value for money! It has the same richness and creaminess of the original price frappe but only half the price. Sad to say, this promo is  valid only every Monday ( April 30-May 28, 2012) from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. but what the heck! A sure blockbuster hit for coffee and non coffee lovers like me!
